Installing WordPress

WordPress is such a common system these days creating our own video for one possible installation process is not overly useful. Different hosting providers have different integration methods on their platform (CPanel, Plesk, Fantastico, QuickInstall etc…).

Most hosting providers have control panels for managing your site / system with easy 1-Click installation measures that include WordPress. If you don’t want to install it yourself or are not 100% confident in doing so, just contact your hosting provider and ask them to do it for you.

I don’t have a website / hosting provider currently, what do I do?

If you don’t have a domain and / or a hosting provider there is a plethora of choices available to you. Its not easy to recommend a hosting provider because every site is different and has different needs based on its size. While AFPv2 is light-weight as a plugin, it isn’t the only plugin you could add to your system. You could create a very bulky system where AFP is just one part of it. The more complex your site is and the more traffic your site receives, the more hosting resources it requires.

For a reasonably competent, cheap hosting provider to get started with, we could recommend BlueHost, you can get a domain name through them as well.
